Spring Break Festival 2024: Daltonit – Kinetic Orchestra & JoJo - Oulu Dance Centre

Daltonit is a dance theatre adventure mish-mashing dance and circus and aimed for the whole family.

Speed, danger and emotion are not lacking from the adventures of the Daltons, when circus artists Onni Toivonen and Kalle Lehto, joined by Kinetic Orchestra’s founder Jarkko Mandelin’s dancing children, interpret the story of these comic book anti-heroes.

Spring Break is a small one-week festival that centers around movement.

The festival is organized by Kinetic Orchestra and held at Cultural Centre Stoa. In 2024, the festival will feature four performances on three evenings.

Visiting artists Akira Yoshida& Lali Ayguadé bring a duet Together To Get There, offering a recount of human nature. Kinetic Orchestra & JoJo - Oulu Dance Centre’s co-production Daltonit offers performances for the whole family over the weekend. The festival also features a co-evening of two pieces from Youth Company and Laajasalo Folk High School’s dance programme.
