The sound of the endless steppes of Mongolia, Samanist throat singing and centuries-old traditional instruments play a metallic note in The HU's music. The folk metal band The HU, which quickly rose to world fame, was founded in 2016.

The band members, Galbadrakh Tsendbaatar, Nyamjantsan Galsanjamts, Enkhsaikhan Batjargal and Temuulen Naranbaatar, combine traditional Mongolian music and western rock music in a uniquely original way, using traditional Mongolian instruments such as the horse head fiddle morin khuur and tovshuur with polyphonic höömei and gargyraa throat singing styles.

The HU's music is strongly based on the roots and history of the Mongolian people, and this is also reflected in the band's lyrics and visual appearance.
