UMO's Brass Seven & Anna Inginmaa

The world's most Finnish ensemble type, the brass septet wakes up to a new kind of morning today. This time the brass instruments are played by the thoroughbred improvisers of the UMO Helsinki Jazz Orchestra. On a brisk tour of the smoky clubs of Berlin and Paris, Edith Piaf and Marlene Dietrich are encountered through Anna Inginmaa's luminous interpretations.
