Vera Wall – Malmi Summer of Events

Vera Wall delivers gentle yet powerful music at Malmi Summer of Events.

In the autumn of 2022, Vera Wall released her debut single, ‘JENKKI’, which was well-received on various platforms. The song was also nominated for Song of the Year at the 2023 Indie Awards. The artist’s second single, ‘Satumaa’, was released in January of the same year.

Wall does most of the writing, arranging and production for her music herself. The final touches to her songs are the work of producer Väinö Wallenius, with whom Vera has worked closely.

The lyrics are very personal to Wall, which emanates from her emotional delivery and her ability to make listeners identify with the stories behind the songs. Wall’s stage presence and ability to take control of the space are her strengths, and she flourishes behind the mic.
