Viapori Jazz - Surprise concert

festival management doesn't know who knows who—and with whom—will step out of the back room when the hour strikes on the stage of Viapori Jazz's Thursday night. The info about the evening's performers is kept in a sealed envelope in the festival safe, which the doormen finally open on Thursday evening when they eliminate those who’d like to designate themselves as performers at the back door. The fact that the tickets for these gigs are usually the first to sell out is not a surprise.
