Volunteer cleaning day in Pohjois-Haaga

Welcome to the volunteer cleaning day of Pohjois-Haaga!

The site is a park area in the immediate vicinity of Pohjois-Haaga train station, between Hopeatie and the railway track. We will visit a World War I fortification in the park, guided by a museum expert, and then proceed to clean up the site. The City will equip the volunteers with litter grabbers and bin bags, and will also provide refreshments. Bring your own gloves and a mug! The volunteer cleaning event is part of Helsinki City Museum’s environment programme 2024–2026.

The event is open and free of charge for everyone. Please register in advance so we can reserve enough equipment and refreshments for everyone. Register here.
