Konstsalongen art gallery was founded by Leonard Bäcksbacka in 1915. The gallery presents mainly contemporary Finnish artists. Occasionally retrospective or memorial exhibitions. In addition to the exhibitions the gallery also sells, to a certain extent, older works of art and antiquities.

Forum Box is a non-profit artist-run co-operative society, which was initiated in 1996 by sculptor Kain Tapper (1930-2004). Its main purpose is to maintain an art space in Helsinki in order to enrich and support the Finnish cultural life. Currently Forum Box co-op has over 80 artist members, all of which are prominent Finnish artists and actors in the field of contemporary art. Forum Box organizes approx.12 exhibitions a year, plus several arts events. Forum Box aims to be a space open for all forms of art.

Kohta is a kunsthalle in Teurastamo / Tukkutori area in Helsinki with an aim to present uncompromising contemporary art in all its forms.

Kohta brings together foreign and Finnish contemporary artists in curated solo and group exhibitions. The mission is to feature artistic thinking in its many forms and showcase artists from different generations and media.

In addition to the exhibitions, Kohta's public events, such as screenings and talks, aim to create a fruitful dialogue around and about contemporary art and connect the dots between different art forms.
