Nereidi

Nereidi is a seven-metre-tall sculpture by Hans-Christian Berg, located in the Kalasatama district by the Shopping Mall Redi.
The two-part sculpture consists of a figure made of laser cut and painted aluminium plates and a concrete wave-shaped pedestal.

In his work Nereidi, the artist wants to convey the atmosphere and sensation of the hectic pace of our time. This multidimensional work can be experienced visually in many ways - both physically and mentally at the same time.

The work was selected by an international competition in 2016 and published in 2021, in order to implement art in public urban spaces in Shopping Mall Redi.
