*Dona nobis pacem* – “Grant us peace”: This is the theme of the concert by the Harvestehuder Kammerchor (Hamburg, Germany), featuring works spanning several centuries.

The program traces a musical arc from Heinrich Schütz to contemporary composers such as Knut Nystedt, encompassing themes of prayer, lament, and hope.

Special emphasis is placed on works by Ukrainian composers—such as Hanna Havrylets, Iryna Aleksiychuk, and Oleksandr Shchetynsky—who translate current experiences into a powerful musical language.

The concert thus serves as a moving plea for peace—timeless yet highly relevant to the present day.
