Dragon European Championship 2026 Helsinki
International top-tier sailing takes over the marine heart of Helsinki as the prestigious Dragon class competes for the European Championship in the summer of 2026.
Helsinki’s stunning archipelago provides the stage for one of the most classic and elegant boat classes in the sailing world. Dozens of crews and world-class sailors from across Europe are expected to participate. The historic island of Blekholmen serves as the event’s headquarters, offering the public a unique opportunity to witness the race atmosphere up close.
Experience the excitement at Lybeck Quay and Blekholmen:
The heart of the event for visitors is the Race Village located at Lybeck Quay (Lyypekinlaituri), right in front of the Old Market Hall. Here, you can follow the races on big screens, hear live updates from the sea, and enjoy the maritime atmosphere. The host island, Blekholmen (NJK), also welcomes visitors to view the beautiful Dragon boats and enjoy the event program.
There is free entry to both the Race Village and Blekholmen.
