Tanssin talo – Dance House Helsinki

Kaapeliaukio 3, 00180 Helsinki

Guest choreographer Luca Signoretti of Susanna Leinonen Company brings his work Mozart Mozart to Tanssin talo’s Erkko Hall in June, reimagined through the performances of the company’s dancers. Internationally awarded, Signoretti’s masterful movement language constructs dynamic and playful choreography rooted in classical ballet to Mozart’s timeless, beloved music.

Mozart Mozart is a journey into the paradoxical universe of a genius composer. The choreography grows like a crescendo: from small, delicate elements toward something greater than life itself—just like Mozart’s music.

Luca Signoretti is a choreographer who breaks boundaries between dance, film, and physical expression. He builds worlds on stage where precise choreographic thinking meets strong physicality and cinematic rhythm. The result is contemporary dance that is at once intelligent, sensual, and bold. Signoretti has received numerous awards in international choreography competitions, and his works have been commissioned by several esteemed international dance companies and theatres. His artistic expression also extends into film: his first short dance film was nominated at the Student Academy Awards in Hollywood in 2020.

Susanna Leinonen Company is an internationally respected contemporary dance company led by artistic director Susanna Leinonen, one of Finland’s most significant choreographers. The company’s works combine powerful physicality, expressiveness, and technical virtuosity, taking audiences deep into the world of movement and emotion. The group has performed in over 30 countries and earned acclaim from both audiences and critics.

In 2026, Susanna Leinonen Company celebrates its 25th anniversary, solidifying its role as a leading influence in Finnish contemporary dance.
