The Other Side of the Mountain

Amos Rex’s main autumn exhibition, in collaboration with Southnord, brings together contemporary artists from the Afro-Nordic diaspora and artists working from the African continent. 

Through Black perspectives and other ways of knowing, the exhibition explores cities as organisms and landscapes as state design, drawing attention to how these sites create distances and proximities between people.

The exhibition features 11 artists, nearly 60 works and three new commissions.
