We Love Helsinki Midsummer Ball 2026

We Love Helsinki’s Midsummer Ball bring together the outdoor terraces of Kaiku, Kammari, Kuudes Linja and Kuistinen. Three separate dance floors keep the midsummer spirit alive as We Love Helsinki’s DJs fill the night with soulful song selections.

On Midsummer Eve Friday, the early evening at the Midsummer Dances is devoted to beloved Finnish golden-age schlager music in a traditional dancehall atmosphere. Waltzes, fateful tangos, sentimental foxtrots and today’s schlager hits.

Later in the evening, the midsummer festivities truly burst into life as the doors open to Kuudes Linja, Kaiku, Kammari and the outdoor terrace Kuistinen. The endless midsummer night is celebrated to the sound of hot Finnish and international party hits, club classics, nostalgic youthful favorites and other surprises perfectly suited to the spirit of midsummer.

On Midsummer Day Saturday, the early evening at Kaiku is filled with American swing, jazz, dixieland, charleston and other dance crazes and trends of the era, as lindy hoppers along with jazz and blues dancers take over the dance floor. Later in the evening, the doors once again open to partygoers, and the grand finale of midsummer is celebrated with a proper summer night party.

Sparkling wines, beers, and other suitably festive refreshments will also be available. Guests attending the Midsummer Dances are encouraged to dress in elegant vintage-inspired attire, and in honor of midsummer, special attention should be given to summery flowers that crown the overall look.
