Created by gastro enthusiasts, Boreal explores organic agriculture, wild foraging and game from responsible sources.
The menu changes four times a year, following the rhythm of Finnish nature from the first signs of spring to the deep stillness of winter. Boreal connects people and nature, encourages dialogue in the industry and inspires change through responsible sourcing, regenerative farming and cultural and environmental care.
All the way to the glass, in Boreal, everything is crafted with care. The chefs are creating their own non-alcoholic drinks in house, thought to be perfectly paired with the dinner and season. The beers are selected seasonally, from small Finnish breweries. Sustainability being at the very heart of Boreal, the wine cellar follows the same path, emphasising smaller wineries, mainly from Europe. From organic wines to natural ones, the selection is always evolving, matching the culinary creations.
Proud to be part of the design district, the interior design of the restaurant reflects the nordic aesthetics. The interior is thought to be a tribute to Finnish nature. Cosy and restful, different art pieces from finish artists and artists from Europe are displayed.
