In the Christmas Mood on Bulevardi
More than one hundred years ago, the Sinebrychoffs celebrated Christmas in a setting very similar to the one people see today.
More than one hundred years ago, the Sinebrychoffs celebrated Christmas in a setting very similar to the one people see today. There are none of the Sinebrychoff family’s household objects in the house museum collection, so the Christmas table settings feature objects on loan from the family and the Sinebrychoff Art Museum’s other collections. In addition to the nostalgic Christmas mood, period furniture, and rare objects, the house museum provides visitors with a chance to admire the extensive collection of old European art, put together by Fanny and Paul Sinebrychoff.
The late-19th-century-style table settings were realised in cooperation with the Friends of the Sinebrychoff Art Museum. Kari-Paavo Kokki, a board member of the Friends of the Sinebrychoff Art Museum, provided expert assistance.
