What is the 90 Day Finn Program?

90 Day Finn is Helsinki’s business expansion program for global tech companies who want to explore expanding their company or R&D to Finland. A group of maximum 15 participants is selected each year.

Ideally, participating companies have 10 or more employees and an annual turnover of at least €1 million. Exceptions can be made for smaller, fast-scaling startups in strategic growth sectors (e.g., deep tech, climate tech, food tech) with strong investor backing or global potential.

During the program, you’ll learn more about the factors that make Helsinki an internationally recognised innovation hub:

  • The culture of trust that makes collaborative projects easy.
  • One of the most digitally skilled talent pools in the world, boosted by Finland’s free education system.
  • The business approach that combines unique scientific research and soft values.
  • Access to a leading innovation infrastructure and public–private R&D opportunities.

What do you get out of the program?

  • Discovering Helsinki with a group of like-minded participants.
  • Join the Alumni Network of 50+ international business leaders from 30+ countries.
  • Insight into funding, public support, talent pool and innovation.
  • Virtual preparatory program in Spring/Summer 2026.
  • Curated access to trusted networks through exclusive events and company visits.
  • Tailored business support during and after your stay.
  • Residency in one of the primary co-working spots of Helsinki.
