Eesti Noorsooteater: Transport: Frontline
Aug 28 – 30, 2026
Erottajankatu 7, 00130 Helsinki
Transport: Frontline places the viewer in the heart of a war zone and humanitarian crisis, where— through the lens of a war photographer—they become a witness to unfolding events.
Her camera does more than document—it frames a moral landscape where every image captured carries the weight of choice and consequence.
Like war photography, the performance questions the limits of representation: when does an image open a space for empathy, and when does it slip into the aestheticization of suffering.
The performance invites reflection on the role of the individual in a world shaped by moral dilemmas and urges active confrontation with the systems of violence we help create—or sustain through silence.
At a time when the line between testimony and sensationalism is increasingly blurred, Transport: Frontline offers a space for reflection on responsibility, solidarity, and the power of the gaze.
Transport is not merely an artistic experience, but a call for change, raising essential ethical questions and challenging us to reconsider the role and responsibility in times of global crisis.
