Markus Krunegård, Mikko Joensuu

An amazing night with two respected singer-songwriters.

Markus Krunegård, one of Sweden’s most beloved artists, released his first Finnish-language solo album Nokia & Ericsson last autumn. Having achieved pretty much everything in Sweden and in Swedish, the Swedish-Finnish Krunegård’s personal and versatile Finnish-language album explores the process of accepting himself as he is, the strengths of his identity, shame, love as well as the similarities and differences between the two cultures and living in the middle. 

The other headliner of the night is the Teosto prize-winning singer-songwriter Mikko Joensuu, who released the praised Long Ark album earlier this year – his first in seven years. Joensuu began his music career in the guitar-driven group Joensuu 1685, whose debut album gained international attention.
